Probably because many people can think of plenty of worthy things to spend it on in their own lives :( If I won the lottery I'd probably put it in a savings account for when I have a home or when I have kids. Isn't it depressing to realize I'm only 24 and I already have to think about saving money for my kid's college fund? Oy...
Good point, but no-one's kid's college fund needs $10.6m. The man is a retired welder and I'm sure he's right when he says, "There is nothing that we need."
